Reducing, and ultimately eliminating, illegal dumping in Freeport is a priority for Freeport Mayor Jodi
Miller. The two-term mayor is fully behind the city of Freeport’s new ‘Re-Fresh Freeport’ program—a
popular community program that provides Freeport residents a way to get rid of unwanted bulk waste.

“Re-Fresh Freeport is an innovative and wonderful public/private partnership with Freeport’s Gills
Disposal where Freeport residents on the first Saturday of every month can dispose of their bulk waste
at the Freeport Transfer Station on Walnut Ave free of charge,” explains Mayor Miller. “Our goal is to
give residents a legal and safe place to dispose of their bulk waste instead of illegally dumping it in
Freeport or in Stephenson County.”

Mayor Miller says she will fight to continue the much valued Freeport program.
